I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I was born and raised in Florida and, these days, home is in central North Carolina.
My lived experiences shape many of my interests in therapy. I am particularly passionate about working with folks who are queer, neurodivergent, chronically ill, and/or who are coping with pet loss or anticipatory grief. I also have direct experience and training in supporting caregivers of children or other family members with serious illness before, during, and beyond a loss.
As a therapist, my style tends to be relatively casual and conversational. It’s important to me that you have the opportunity to shape the focus of our sessions just as much as I do. I believe wholeheartedly that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to meet you where you are and support you in building a life that honors every part of you. I aim to show up to the (virtual) therapy room with humor, authenticity, and curiosity. My hope is that you leave our time together feeling seen, heard, and known.
When I’m not seeing clients, you might find me: spending time with my partner and our rescue dogs, listening to a podcast or a long voice memo from a friend, enjoying a nap, looking for interesting rocks, or watching a favorite comfort show.
I look forward to meeting you and to exploring the peaks, valleys, and in-betweens of life alongside you.
